Künstlerhaus
El nuevo resplandor de siempre
Se trata de un lugar de intercambio, debate y difusión del arte contemporáneo. Además, el nombre lo dice todo, ya que la Künstlerhaus está hecha por y para artistas. Tras una pausa de tres años durante la reforma, regresó a Karlsplatz a principios de 2020. Ahora, sus 900 m² acogen no solo exposiciones sino también un variado programa de actividades centradas en el trabajo creativo. La asociación Künstlerhaus Vereinigung también tiene como objetivo hacer la creación artística actual accesible para todos.
Las salas de eventos «Factory» (200 m²) y «Salon Karlsplatz» (antigua sala Ranftl) complementan la oferta del centro. Además de eventos paralelos a las exposiciones y ciclos de cine internacional en el Stadtkino en la Künstlerhaus, también hay DJs y conciertos de pop. Los amantes del arte pueden disfrutar de una buena comida en Ludwig und Adele.
Además, la Künstlerhaus alberga un museo de arte contemporáneo: el Albertina modern muestra en exposiciones temporales tanto a grandes artistas austriacos como a artistas internacionales. Por otro lado, el NEST, un centro que depende de la Ópera Nacional de Viena, ofrece un programa dirigido a niños y jóvenes.
