With its exhibitions and numerous events for the whole family, the Schloss Hof Estate is always worth a visit.
Special Exhibitions
"Playful Symmetry: The Baroque Garden as a Work of Art" | March 7 - November 2, 2026:
Drawing on the magnificent on-site garden, the exhibition highlights the key features of Baroque garden art at the imperial and aristocratic Habsburg courts. The exhibition offers insights into how artful design elements, sculptures, plant arrangements, and technical innovations, such as water features and fireworks, combined to create impressive places for leisure and relaxation. However, the Baroque garden was far more than just a place for aristocratic leisure. It reflected power and wealth and was also an expression of a luxurious hobby that required considerable human and material resources. For the first time, the special exhibition extends across nearly the entire grounds of the Schloss Hof Estate, very much in the spirit of a complete Baroque experience.
