Routes and stops

The airport buses operate five main routes. They run directly from the airport to different districts and are well connected to Vienna’s public transport network. Early morning and night services mean buses run almost around the clock. 

Vienna Airport Bus Line 1: 
Fast connections to major international and domestic rail services.

• Vienna Airport – Vienna Central Station (South entrance, connection with subway line U1) – Vienna Westbahnhof (Europaplatz entrance/interchange with subway lines U3 and U6)
  Travel time: 40 minutes
  Every 30 minutes from 4.30 am to 1.00 am
• Vienna Westbahnhof (Europaplatz entrance/connection with subway lines U3 and U6) – Vienna Central Station (South entrance/connection with subway line U1) – Vienna Airport
  Travel time: 40 minutes
  Every 30 minutes from 3.00 am to midnight, hourly from 12.30 am to 2.30 am

Vienna Airport Bus Line 2:
Direct connection to the historic city center and the Danube Canal. 

• Vienna Airport – Morzinplatz/Schwedenplatz (connection with subway lines U1 and U4)
  Travel time: 22 minutes
  Every 30 minutes from 4.15 am to 12.15 am
• Morzinplatz/Schwedenplatz (connection with subway lines U1 and U4) – Vienna Airport
  Travel time: 20 minutes
  Every 30 minutes from 3.30 am to 11.30 pm

Vienna Airport Bus Line 3:
Convenient for destinations in northeastern Vienna and for visitors to VIECON – Vienna Congress and Convention Center, Austria Center Vienna, and the Vienna International Centre (UNO City). 

• Vienna Airport – Vienna Kaisermühlen VIC (connection with subway line U1) - Donauzentrum (connection with subway line U1)
  Travel time: 39 minutes
  Hourly from 6.00 am to 9.30 pm
• Donauzentrum (connection with subway line U1) – Vienna Kaisermühlen (connection with subway line U1) – Vienna Airport
  Travel time: 42 minutes
  Hourly from 4.58 am to 7.58 pm

• Donaumarina (connection with U2 subway line)
• Vienna Stadion (connection with U2 subway line)
• Krieau / Messe Wien (connection with U2 subway line)
• Kaisermühlen VIC / Austria Center Vienna (connection with U1 subway line)
• Julius-Payer-Gasse (Hotel Schani UNO-City)
• Donauzentrum (connection with U1 subway line)

Vienna Airport Bus line 4:
Non-stop service to Karlsplatz in the city center (near the Vienna State Opera)

• Vienna Airport – Karlsplatz (connection to subway lines U1, U2, U4)
  Journey time 26 minutes
  Every 30 minutes from 4.30 am to 1.00 am
• Karlsplatz – Vienna Airport 
  from 3.09 am to 10.39 pm every 30 minutes

Vienna Airport Bus line 5:
Non-stop service to the transport hub Wien Praterstern 

• Vienna Airport – Wien Praterstern (connection to U-Bahn lines U1, U2)
  Journey time 28 minutes
  from 4.42 am to 1.12 am every 30 minutes
• Wien Praterstern – Vienna Airport
  from 3.03 am to 10.33 pm every 30 minutes

Amenities

The low-entry buses are accessible (wheelchair accessible and suitable for strollers) and are equipped with air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and USB ports.

Tickets

• Adults: Single: €11, return: €20
• Children under 6 years of age travel for free, children and young adults 6-14 years single: €6,  return: €11
• Tickets can be purchased online at www.viennaairportbus.com, directly from the bus drivers (cash only), or from Vienna Airport Bus ticket machines at Vienna Airport or at Vienna Westbahnhof.
• The journey to/from the aiport is included for travelers with the Vienna City Card + Airport Transfer and the Vienna City Card + Airport Transfer + Hop-On Hop-Off
