Rooms with a view

The best view of the city can be enjoyed from the Suite Hotel am Kahlenberg. Guests can recharge their batteries here, surrounded by vineyards and forests. It isn't far to the heuriger on the city's edge, and you can be in the city center itself in half an hour with public transport. Twenty loft suites with terraces offering a stunning long-range view of Vienna await visitors here. Breakfast can be taken in the adjacent Café Kahlenberg. Just a stone's throw away are the popular wine taverns of Nussberg, one of Vienna's prettiest wine areas.

To the Danube for a swim

The Hilton Vienna Danube Waterfront stands right on the bank of the Danube. Ships glide slowly past while the guests make themselves comfortable on the spacious terrace, relax on the beach loungers, or splash around in the outdoor pool with a view of the Danube. Another tip is the OXBO restaurant, where you also have a wonderful view of the Danube.

And yes, Vienna even has hotels with their own private beach on the Old Danube. The Strandhotel Alte Donau invites you to jump into the refreshing water after a stroll through the city. The hotel's own bathing beach is an excellent place to relax. You can also set off on tours of discovery by boat or bicycle from right outside the hotel. Loungers, parasols, rowboats, bicycles, and bicycle maps are available free of charge.

A pool above the Ringstrasse boulevard

You can also go swimming in the open air in the middle of the city. The Hotel Grand Ferdinand is located right on Vienna's Ringstrasse. As you splash around in the outdoor pool on the roof of the hotel, you can enjoy the historic Ringstrasse architecture. Unique in Vienna. However, you don't necessarily have to jump into the pool for this view. On the Grand Étage, hotel guests can also look across the roofs of Vienna over exclusive cocktails and fine food. What's more, the Grand Étage is available not only to hotel guests. Members of the private dining club can also utilize the luxury setting on the roof. The restaurant Meissl & Schadn on the ground floor of the hotel celebrates classic Viennese cuisine.

For wine lovers

At the Landhaus von Fuhrgassl-Huber, you're a guest in the country house of one of Vienna's best-known wine-growing families. The Landhaus Fuhrgassl-Huber and the vineyard of the same name are just a few steps apart from each other in the old wine-growing village of Neustift am Walde. The idyllic location invites you to go on walks to the vineyards, and the city center can also be reached in no time from here.

A night at Schönbrunn Palace

You, too, can spend a night where Emperor Franz Joseph and Empress Elisabeth once lived. In the Grand Suite at Schönbrunn Palace, guests have a sensational view of the palace park and can see the Gloriette from their bed. At night, Schönbrunn Palace park is quieter than you've ever known it. The most you can hear is the trumpeting of an elephant or the growling of the lions coming from neighboring Schönbrunn Zoo. Breakfast and dinner can be served in the suite, and a horse-drawn carriage ride through Schönbrunn Palace park is also possible. That's what we call service like in the time of the emperor.
