A hundred award-winning chefs and about fifty winemakers from across Austria (and neighboring countries) will gather in Vienna for the Gault & Millau Genuss-Messe 2025 on September 13 and 14. This year, the event will take place at the Ottakringer Brewery again. Visitors can sample everything from award-winning pub food to stunning avant-garde creations. Representatives of Vienna’s premium dining scene include:

  • Heinz Reitbauer & Michael Bauböck from the three-star restaurant Steirereck
  • Paul Ivic from the vegetarian restaurant Tian
  • Sören Herzig from restaurant Herzig
  • Jakob Karner from restaurant Apron
  • Stefan Doubek from restaurant Doubek
  • Clara Aue from restaurant Heu & Gabel
  • Parvin Razavi from restaurant &flora
  • Jonathan Wittenbrink from the vegan restaurant Jola
  • Eduard Dimant from restaurant Mochi

Everything of renown and stature from the other federal provinces is represented – from Lukas Nagl from the Bootshaus in Upper Austria to Harald Irka from Styria. For visitors, it's a unique opportunity to experience such a line-up of leading chefs in a single place.

Superlative pleasure

The right accompaniment to the culinary highlights comes from the winemakers who will be presenting their wines and sparkling wines at the Gault & Millau Genuss-Messe.

In addition to the sampling, there’s also the chance to watch selected leading chefs at work in the show kitchen.
