❤️ The Valentine's Day program ❤️

We start Valentine's Day in typical Viennese style with a Viennese breakfast and a melange in a Viennese coffee house: Café Hawelka, Café Sperl, Café Schwarzenberg or Café Korb are among Vienna's well-known traditional coffee houses – full of nostalgia and romance.

Pralines were yesterday

The blossoming confectionery of praline artist Michael Diewald is unique in flavor and appearance. It's hard to believe that experiments with wild fruit, herbs, and dried flowers preserved in sugar can taste so incredible. In his workshop in the 6th district, the fine delicacies, such as lime and elderflower marzipan in turmeric or chamomile chocolate, are lovingly produced by hand.

Floral love message?

The Blumenhaus zum Dom is one of Vienna's best-known florists, mainly because it's located right on Stephansplatz, where the display draws almost as many looks as the Steffl.

Romantic ice skating

What could be more romantic than skating at the Vienna Ice World? Until March, City Hall Square is one of the biggest and most romantic open-air artificial ice rinks in the world – and on no fewer than two levels! The long opening hours until 10.00 pm even allow you to go skating at night. Perfect for a date on Valentine's Day.

The Kiss for eternity

On February 14, from 7 pm to 11 pm, couples can have themselves professionally photographed free of charge in front of Gustav Klimt's famous painting The Kiss in the Upper Belvedere. Admission and event are free.

Here is the exhibition overview for art lovers.

Vegetable love

You'll soon realize that a successful dinner needn't always be heavy on the meat when you pay a visit to the TIAN Restaurant Wien or the TIAN Bistro am Spittelberg. The menu gets you in the mood for the very highest standard of vegan cuisine.

February 14 is the day of the Giant Ferris Wheel

Taking a turn on the Giant Ferris Wheel is simply magical. Not only for people in love. And on Valentine's Day, you can do so until 9.45 pm.
