French flair in Vienna

With homemade French pastries and Viennoiserie, Tart’a tata inspires pure indulgence. Housemade pastries can also be found in the shop window of Gregors Konditorei (Gregor’s Patisserie). Gregor Lemmerer’s little café and patisserie offers confectionery ranging from nut croissants, chocolates and cakes to gingerbread and even homemade ice cream in the summer. Gregors Konditorei is also one of our recommendations for breakfast. Local products are important to the owner – plates, cups and lamps come from the local porcelain manufacturer feinedinge*.

Ella's Twins on Vorgartenmarkt also offers a mix of traditional and modern patisserie and chocolaterie to nibble on. The sweet temptations range from Punschkrapferl (rum-flavored pastry) to fresh and fruity maracuja-chocolate slices.
