Public Screenings during Eurovision in Vienna
The three colorful live shows of the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest are taking place at Wiener Stadthalle on May 12, 14 and 16 at 9 p.m. On top of that, public screening locations are spread throughout Vienna. For example, outdoors at the Eurovision Village on Vienna’s Rathausplatz, at the Strandbar Hermann beach bar, on the stage of the Vienna Volksoper, or at the hstoric Ottakringer Brewery - every ESC fans will find their favorite spot for public screenings during the ESC in Vienna.

Eurovision Village at Vienna's City Hall Square (May 12, 14, & 16)
In 2026, Vienna’s City Hall Square once again transforms into the world’s most beautiful public screening location: The Eurovision Village on City Hall Square opens daily between May 10 and 17, from 2:00 p.m. until midnight or until the end of the show - free of charge, until capacity limits are reached. Both semifinals and the final are being shown live here.
The supporting program is quite impressive:
- Opening Ceremony on May 10—the only time all 35 delegations will appear together outside the Wiener Stadthalle. They will be welcomed with music by the ORF Radio Symphony Orchestra and JJ’s 2025 winning song, “Wasted Love.” Eurodance legend Haddaway will perform at the post-show ESC party.
- Performances by current and former ESC participants
- ESC-Morning on Thursday (holiday) starting at 11:00 a.m.
- Diverse DJ lineup

Please note: Strict security measures are in place at the Eurovision Village. Only bags smaller than A4 size are permitted. A no-bag policy is in effect during the Opening Ceremony on May 10 and the Grand Final on May 16.
Eurovision on the Beach: Strandbar Hermann (May 12, 14, & 16)
Strandbar Hermann is a popular spot for all kinds of public screenings - including the Eurovision Song Contest. All three TV shows are shown on a big screen. Fans will also find a selfie station, a ping-pong table, a €1 wheel of fortune, and, of course, that beach vibe! It’s worth arriving early to snag the best seats!
Eurovision on Tap: Ottakringer Brewery (May 16)
Vienna’s largest brewery, Ottakringer, not only produces the official Eurovision Song Contest fan beer, but also hosts a watch party event for the final night at their event space in the historic, rustic brewery hall. There´s also a disco night on Friday, May 15.
Grand Final at the Theater: Vienna Volksoper (May 16)
The Grand Final is also being screened in the beautiful auditorium of the Volksoper. A total of 1,300 Eurovision fans have the chance to cheer, share the excitement and celebrate together.

What's on at the Eurovision Village on Vienna's City Hall Square?
The Eurovision Village is a gathering place and party zone. The three live TV shows are being broadcast on the big screen in front of Vienna City Hall (May 12, 14, and 16). In addition, there will be a wide range of culinary offerings, national and international acts, DJ sets, and much more. The opening of Eurovision Week also takes place here on May 10.
From May 10 to 17, the Eurovision Village is open daily from 2:00 p.m. to midnight (or until the end of the show) and admission is free.
