In the Wiener Kochsalon of the Wrenkh family, there are culinary workshops on changing topics such as "Wrenkh Classic" (vegetarian cuisine) right up to Austrian cuisine. The Kochsalon is also available for groups and cooking events on various topics (e.g. apple strudel workshop).

The Vienna Cooking Tours of Andrea Beck start at the Naschmarkt with a tasting and shopping tour. Afterwards, the participants cook a typical Viennese menu together in Andrea Beck's private kitchen (up to 6 people) or at the Gegenbauer vinegar brewery. The tours and cookery courses are offered in German, English, French and Spanish. On request, they can be combined with a tour of the vinegar brewery.

On the cookery course series "So isst Wien" (This is how Vienna eats), classic Viennese cuisine is not so much on the program as the producers from Vienna. Each episode hosts a different Viennese food producer, whose products are used to cook with.

Insight into the Viennese baking tradition

An apple strudel baking course based on Grandma's special recipe is on the program at Palais Hansen Kempinski on the first and third Saturday of every month. Under the instruction of a patissier, adults and children learn the technique of pulling strudel dough and discover the secret to the fruity filling. After the course, everyone tastes their self-baked strudels together and the participants are given the recipe to bake it at home.

In exclusively bookable apple strudel seminars for groups in the Hofbackstube of Café Residenz guests learn how to make a traditional Viennese apple strudel themselves from pulled strudel dough under the instruction of pastry chefs. The finished strudel can be eaten on site, taken away or delivered. For groups German and English.
