Railjet and InterCity trains run twice an hour, taking you from Vienna Airport to Vienna Central Station (connection to subway line U1) in about 15 minutes, or to Vienna Meidling station (connection to subway line U6) in just under 30 minutes.

Departure times:

From Vienna Airport to Vienna Main Station and Wien Meidling station:

• Services from the airport run at 30 minute intervals every day from 6.33 am to 11.02 pm, with one extra service at 12.02 am.

From Vienna Main Station and Wien Meidling station to Vienna Airport:

• daily from Wien Meidling from 5.30 am to 10.00 pm, every 30 minutes, journey time approx. 30 minutes
• daily from Vienna Main Station from 5.42 am to 10.42 pm, every 30 minutes, journey time 15 minutes

Tickets:

• Passengers with a Vienna City Card or a multi-day ticket for Vienna public transport only need an additional ticket from the airport to the Vienna city boundary (Schwechat station) for € 2.20 (available at ÖBB ticket machines or counters).
• Adults: € 5.40 (= € 2.20 for the ticket from the airport to the Vienna city boundary + € 3.20 for the ticket within Vienna).
• Children and young people aged 6 to 14 inclusive: € 2.70 (= € 1.10 for the ticket from the airport to the Vienna city boundary + € 1.60 for the ticket within Vienna).
• Children under 6 years of age ride free of charge
• The journey from/to the airport is included in the Vienna City Card + Airport Transfer and Vienna City Card + Airport Transfer + Hop-On Hop-Off.

The Vienna City Card, multi-day ticket and additional ticket must be validated before commencing the journey.
