Vienna Coffee Festival

The city of coffee house culture has long revolved around drinking coffee. The quality of coffee has skyrocketed over the last two decades thanks to the emergence of new coffee shops. Visitors from all over Europe can see this for themselves at the Vienna Coffee Festival. The event offers information, tasting and sampling, with a focus on conscious and sustainable coffee enjoyment. From premium green coffee specialties for you to taste to the various coffee roasting processes, to machines, grinders and accessories, producers and retailers will be showcasing the variety that the coffee world has to offer.

The program is packed with tastings, talks, competitions, and workshops. Professional baristas will prepare espresso, filter coffee or cold brew using various methods and impress with their creative milk foam decorations. Visitors can inform themselves about filter holders, fully automatic coffee machines, AeroPress or pour-over methods. And of course, great food and music will be part of the experience as well.

Workshops and Talks

During tastings, workshops, and presentations, coffee experts will share their knowledge with festivalgoers. Austria’s best baristas will go head-to-head on the festival’s show stages. In 2026, the reigning World Barista Champion from Australia will also be coming to Vienna for the Vienna Coffee Festival. Over all three festival days, the Open Stage will become a lively forum for exciting discussions, fresh perspectives, and thought-provoking debates from across the world of coffee.

Naturally, the Vienna Coffee Festival is also the perfect place to shop for everything you need to enjoy great coffee at home — from distinctive roasts and a wide range of accessories to coffee machines. Austria’s top roasteries will also be represented at the festival.
