When you buy a "Vienna City Card Transfer" or a "Vienna City Card Transfer+Tour", the ride between the airport and city center is included (City Airport Train, ÖBB Railjet, rapid transit railway (S7), Vienna Airport Lines). Please note that transfers to or onward journeys with public transport within Vienna require the relevant Wiener Linien ticket (on the rear of the Vienna City Card or in the app) to be validated before commencing the journey. Half-price tickets for children from 6 to 14 years: €1.20 in advance and €1.40 on the tram. Valid for one journey, transfers allowed, but the journey must not be interrupted. This ticket is also valid for the carriage of dogs on Vienna's public transport services. 2-journey senior ticket: € 3.00 for women and men from the age of 65. This ticket is good for two journeys on any day. Children up to 6 years of age always travel for free on Vienna's public transport services. Every year at the beginning of the year (February 1 - 28) you can register on the website of the Vienna Philharmonic for tickets to the New Year's Concert of the Vienna Philharmonic, the New Year's Eve concert and to the preview on 30 December in the Golden Hall of the Musikverein. The tickets are randomly drawn from amongst the registrations. You can park your car particularly economically at Vienna's Park & Ride facilities. Parking here costs €4.40 per day. All Park & Ride car parks are located right next to underground stations, so that you can get quickly and comfortably to the city center. Car parks are available in and near the city center for much higher parking fees. Parking fees in the short-stay parking zone apply to almost the entire Vienna metropolitan area from Monday to Friday, from 9.00 am to 10.00 pm. The maximum parking duration is two hours. Parking for residents In all districts there are parking spaces specifically reserved for local residents, which cannot be used with a valid parking ticket. The large train stations in Vienna (Vienna Main Station, Vienna Westbahnhof Station, Wien Mitte Station, Meidling Station, Praterstern Station) have lockers , where you can store your luggage for up to 24 hours. At Vienna Airport there are two "Baggage Service Centers" (Terminal 1 and Terminal 3), where your luggage can be stored for up to 6 months. A storage service is also offered by “Nannybag”. The storage of items of luggage and other objects is possible at various locations in Vienna for up to 30 days.
