At the museum

Eurofan House

Vienna’s city museum, the Wien Museum, will turn itself into the Eurofan House from May 11 to May 16, the daytime hotspot for all Eurovision Song Contest fans. With free admission, you can enjoy interviews with Eurovision Song Contest artists, panel discussions, Eurovision Song Contest-themed museum tours and much more.

Unstoppable! Eurovision Song Contest Highlights at the Museum

Although non-political in nature, the Eurovision Song Contest has always reflected social and political events. The exhibition at the House of Austrian History, the contemporary history museum in the Hofburg, is complemented by objects from Austria’s Eurovision Song Contest history: JJ’s set design from 2025, Conchita’s dress that she wore when she won in Copenhagen in 2014, and much more.

United by Queerness

QWien is dedicating a special exhibition entirely to the history of the Eurovision Song Contest from a queer perspective. This exhibition also features many one-of-a-kind items. These include Jean-Claude Pascal’s winner’s medal (he sang for Luxembourg in 1961 about a love that was not yet socially accepted), Conchita’s gown from the Vienna-hosted Eurovision Song Contest in 2015, and the legendary “Equality T-shirt” worn by Austria’s points announcer Philipp Hansa.
